The planting season

The planting season is now over. This planting season was particularly intense, with 54 new trees planted:
At the Jardin des Continents (Sentier des Planètes), located between the racecourse and the Divonne-les-Bains lake, we planted 48 trees. After the 32 trees planted in February, 16 new trees have just been planted (7 Cladastris lutea - Yellow Wood Virgil and 9 Gleditsia triacanthos inermis - American Beech).
In the Jardin du Pont des Iles, 3 new trees were planted: a serviceberry to replace another serviceberry that had not survived, a Pistacia sinensis - pistachio tree and a Tilia henryana - Henry's lime.
At the Arbère pond, 3 new trees have been planted: two Euodia danielii (Honey Tree) and an Ostrya carpinifolia (Hop Hornbeam).
The identification plaques for these trees are almost ready and will be installed over the next two weeks.
We are now starting to prepare the plantings for next season.
We plan to plant 50 new trees in the Jardin des Continents. The list of trees we want to plant will soon be available on our website.
